Thanks to all of you who prayed for our children’s school to remain open last year.  The Roger Clap is now Boston’s first innovation school.  We have hired an almost entirely new faculty who are all very diverse, well qualified, and enthusiastic about the school and our children’s success.  RCIS (Roger Clap Innovation School) opened two weeks earlier than all other Boston Public Schools with a summer springboard program, where students were given a head start on learning for this year. Olivia and Logan loved it!

The program ended with a school-wide Duck Tour around Boston. Prior to the official opening of school we had a televised ribbon-cutting ceremony that included the Superintendent of Schools as well as Mayor Menino and many other city officials pictured below (Logan is upset that the mayor was the one to get to cut the ribbon and not him!).

We are very excited and hopeful about our children’s future at RCIS.  Thank you again for interceding for our precious children!
