Epicenter 2013

Epicenter was amazing this year. So many students took steps of faith. Here are some of the comments they made:

I learned that God is calling me to follow him and listen to what he wants me to do, to fall in love everyday, not to be afraid, and to trust God in every step of my life. He is calling me to: Summer Project.”

“I experienced the joy of salvation and I pray that it will last forever. I was touched by the sermons and songs. It was really amazing, next year I will definitely come back. ”
I learned that indeed God is good because what happened during Epicenter was totally surprising to me. I was able to know that I am not alone in the Lord, that I am surrounded with other believers who are my brothers and sisters. From now onwards I will not be ashamed of you, follow you, listen to you and do what you want me to do.”

“To speak with my cousin Stanley about the gospel and pour love into him. To humble myself to let God work in my heart so that I can be better equipped to serve, love and grow with those God have placed in my heart.”

“I actually got confirmation at epicenter that as a Christian it is good to be transparent and be real with the people around you, especially with your brothers and sisters in Christ. I don’t have to feel ashamed of what I am going through. I really need to spend more time reading the word of God and telling people about the Gospel. I have thought about doing the Summer Project Echo in Boston so I will try and trust in God that he will provide that opportunity for me.”

“I learned about discipleship and how it really works, having a passionate relationship for Christ, not only believing but acting based on my beliefs, and fully trusting God and letting him control our lives. My Next steps: Making a sacrifice so that God is my only love at this time, making more bold movements and decisions through evangelism, trust God with Wildwood.”

“I have learned that God will give me the strength to fight fear. Fear of spreading God’s word on campus and in my life. God has called me to go to South Africa to use my gift as a teacher to both tutor children but also share and teach them the gospel. I feel having the knowledge of Christ my whole life it’s now time I quit turning my back to him and truly give myself to him.”

“I learned that I can always improve. I would like to continue to follow Christ and grow stronger every day.”
